Meet Our Team

Mark Izzo

Making work great — that’s what Mark had in mind when he founded Converge HR Solutions in 2006. Prior to founding Converge HR Solutions, Mark was the Chief Administrative Officer for a large Philadelphia based non-profit organization. In this capacity, he was responsible for strategy and operations support of five subsidiary companies for this $250 million Foundation. When not changing the HR world, Mark is passionate about wine making, an avid reader and enjoys skiing and outdoor activities.

Jennifer Adams

Jennifer has been working with Converge for 10 years now and in HR for over 20 years. She is an experienced generalist, she especially enjoys working with clients to help them procedurally align with their culture and values. She also has a rich history of helping organizations forge healthy relationships with their staff through implementing effective employee relations strategies. When not at work, Jennifer enjoys juggling the life of her three children while spending time with them and her hubby.

Anna Ehlenberger

Anna has over 10 years of industry experience in Human Resources; allowing her to understand businesses needs and how HR can make an impact. Anna’s deep understanding of all aspects of HR allows her to strategize with business owners to identify their HR needs. Anna graduated from LaSalle University with her M.A. in Industrial Organizational Psychology and Human Resources Management. In Anna’s free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two toddlers. She also enjoys swimming, skiing, golfing and traveling.

Kara Peiffer

Kara started her career in talent acquisition and has since expanded her expertise, particularly in the areas of employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning. Kara obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, where she majored in Psychology and minored in HR Management. She also holds a SHRM-CP certification. Kara enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, cooking new foods, and redecorating her home in her free time.

Kristina Kubach

Kristina started her HR career working in the biopharmaceutical space, she was responsible for onboarding new hires globally, managing 200+ files, documents, performance reviews and related HR records, and lead responding to all inquiries from employees. Kristina was also involved in HR policy administration, employee benefits and organizational design.

This experience was foundational to her moving to Penn Medicine’s HR team. Kristina quickly became the lead for onboarding for this large healthcare system. During this time, she was also point on HR inquiries via phone and email for over 3,000 employees, as well as involved in major HR initiatives such as Diversity and Inclusion and the transition of their HRIS system.

Kristina graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. In Kristina’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, family and friends, cooking, outdoor activities, and exploring Philadelphia.

Dave Forbes

Dave has a deep recruiting background with both corporate and agency environments. He has hired positions from front-line workers to C-suite executives. Dave holds certificates in Certified PI Analysis, and DDI Behavioral-Based Interviewing. He has managed as many as 70 open positions at once, and filling over 280 positions in a single year He graduated from the University of Rochester with Bachelor’s degrees in History and Russian. In his free time he enjoys cooking, gardening, hiking and amateur photography.

Erika Portolese

Erika graduated from the State University of New York at Albany, where she received a degree in both Marketing and Finance. She began her career in finance, and then moved into sales at a Fortune 500 company. It was there that she spent 8 years in progressively responsible positions from Territory Sales Manager, to Unit Manager, Operations Manager, and Recruiting Lead. She also spent time raising her family and getting involved in things like leading her daughter’s Girl Scout troop. While she enjoyed her time with her family, Erika is passionate about working in the business field. In her free time, Erika loves to cook, garden, and read.

Traquillia Kennedy

Traquillia Kennedy serves as a senior level Strategic HR Consultant, Executive Advisor, and Thought Leader with over 15 years of experience. She began her leadership trajectory within the Mastery Charter School District of Philadelphia; as the co-founder for the vision and mission of Mastery’s Human Resources function. Her most recent internal senior corporate roles were Vice President, HR for Congreso in partnership with the City of Philadelphia and Department of Human Resources; and Deputy Chief HR Officer of LEAP Academy University Charter School District.

Traquillia’s career exposure is from a multi-faceted perspective of private and not-for-profit industries at multiple sizes; from pharmaceutical, hospitality, recreation, legal, global technology, manufacturing, and education. She has led companies through grassroots implementation, organizational transformation, performance management, training & development initiatives, HRIS system implementation, complex employee relational matters, strategic planning, and various policy development initiatives to strengthen the organization’s foundation and culture.

Traquillia attended Temple University studying Computer Information Science, Strayer University for Business Administration/Human Resources Management, and St. Joseph University in Strategic HR Management. Traquillia has certifications in Organizational Leadership and Inspiring Leadership through Emotional Intelligence with Training and Development, is a Certified ELI Civil Treatment Facilitator, and graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Diverseforce on Boards Governance Training with a Honorary City Citation.

Her philosophy is driven by a high-touch approach; being visible, hands-on, and transparent with a focus on organizational coaching and training. The goal is always to propel more initiatives of core leadership development towards empowerment.
